Part of the city of Vlora woke up again this Monday morning under the power of smoke, which as usual comes from the burning of the urban waste landfill.
In fact, the fire at this landfill started on Sunday evening, but after the intervention of local authorities, it was reactivated due to the wind in the early hours of Monday, creating a worrying situation regarding the presence of smoke for many residents of the area.
The mayor of Vlora also visited the site, promising that measures will be taken within a week to seal off this collection site.
The Mayor of Vlora has also promised that by the start of this year's summer season, the urban waste landfill in the 24 May neighborhood of Vlora will be completely closed and no more waste will be deposited there. (A2 Televizion)
