Strong winds have caused problems in the coastal area of Vlora. A2 CNN journalist Edi Ruçi reports that there are problems with electricity in several villages in the Himara municipality.
Since Sunday, villages such as Borshi, Piqeras, Qeparoja and Lukova have been without electricity. The power was cut off as a result of the deteriorating weather. Residents have been without electricity since Sunday morning.
Problems with electricity are also reported in several villages in the Selenica municipality, such as Velce, Ramice, Bashaj, Romës, Resulaj, Matogjin, Kallarat, Tërbac and Kuç, reports A2 CNN.
In these villages of Selenica, the lights go out for several hours, come back on for a few minutes, and as the wind strengthens, they are interrupted for several hours.
Meanwhile, inside the "Rilindja" residential block in Vlora, a tree has fallen near the road segment. Local workers are working to cut it down and remove it. Two street lighting poles have also fallen. One of them was damaged by the fallen tree and the other was pulled down by the cables that were connected to it, writes A2 CNN.
The electrical cables have ended up on the ground, while OSSHE employees are also intervening to remove them from the road segment.
