5 doctors in Fier have been sent for trial under the charge of "Negligence in medical treatment".

"The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction has completed the preliminary investigations of criminal case no. 1437, year 2022, and sends for trial 5 (five) defendants, doctors of the Fier Regional Hospital, specifically the defendant LV ( M), ED, AS, AS and NB, for the criminal offense, "Negligence in medical treatment", provided by article 96 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
From the evidence administered and their analysis, it has emerged that the five doctors were negligent in the medical treatment of the B.SH citizen, who subsequently died.
