The minimum gross salary of teachers will be 90,000 ALL, or in other words, what they will receive will be no less than 72,000 ALL... but after July of next year.
"We want the entire salary level for primary, basic and secondary education to reach 90,000 ALL per month, as we promised. We are working. Our ambition is not to have less than 90 thousand ALL. The budget support will start in July", declared Manastirliu.
From the committee for Economy and Finance, chairman Eduart Shalsi and the Minister of State for Service Standards, Milva Ekonomi, asked about some new initiatives that have started to be implemented at two of the ends of the study cycles.
"Regarding the foreign language in the first grade, how is the process going and how is the further extension foreseen", said Ekonomi.
"How much are private universities being monitored, considering the damage that some of them have caused to the country earlier?", Shalsi emphasized.
Manastrliu also told about the progress and challenges these initiatives have encountered.
"There are more than 1,090 classes so far that do English in the first grade. We have completed the process for 12 HEIs and will continue with 28 other universities. Our focus is on their accreditation process", said Manastirliu.
Referring to the loss of football player Raphael Dwamena's life on the playing field, Erion Braçe requested that a part of the budget for the next year be spent on sports medicine.
"First of all, Madam Minister, we do not have sports medicine. I learned this in the last few days. We don't even have specialization in the University of Medicine in this aspect, so much so that today we have almost zero sports doctors near the teams. Just like we have zero sports doctors in age teams. It will be necessary that in the sports university you as the minister agree to open as soon as possible the profile for sports doctors in the sports university", Braçe said.
