Around 18.5 tons of chicken fillets with salmonella originating from Brazil have been detected at the Port of Durrës by the National Food Authority. The quantity entered Albania on March 21, while a large part of the quantity has been placed on the market and consumed.
A2 CNN learns that it concerns 18,250 kg of frozen chicken fillet imported from Brazil and entered Albania through the port of Durrës.
The case was caught during an inspection by the AKU, which then sent it to ISUV for analysis, but there was no notification from the European system. (A2 Televizion)
