Irresponsible residents, poor cleaning services, and the result: massive pollution in the drainage canals, where there is more waste than water. This is the situation in the neighborhoods crossed by one of the main drainage canals, the Naunka canal, on the outskirts of Vlora.
The pollution of a shared environment where a certain community lives is never the fault of one of the factors that should keep it clean.
Along the 1 May and 24 May neighborhoods, where the Naunka canal passes in Vlora, the situation is almost the same. Some of the residents admit that they themselves are the cause of this situation.
Others say that even the cleaning staff do not do their job properly.
Meanwhile, what is most important is that even the residents themselves have no hope that the situation will change for the better. (A2 Televizion)
