The emergency thrombectomy procedure, a life-saving intervention that removes blood clots in the arteries of the brain, restoring normal blood circulation and minimizing neurological damage, is continuing successfully at the Fier Memorial Hospital. The news was shared on social media by the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, who said that this was carried out through the cooperation of Turkish and Albanian doctors.
“This achievement is the result of the excellent cooperation of the multidisciplinary team, of Dr. Hasan Bayindir, Ümit Gorgulu, Dr. Klaudio Disha, Dr. Kjanda Elpenoria, Dr. Turhan Guler, Dr. Arlinda Abazaj, Dr. Mesut Karatas, as well as technicians Halil Ibrahim Ozkan, Temel Acar and Evis Maqina.
