A communication from the civil emergency headquarters in the prefecture of the district indicates that today in Delvinë there is only one active hearth, the one in Palavli. The fire there is continuing, but on the mountain slope and at the top, as well as a small hearth, reports A2 CNN.
It is believed that the situation in Palavli will also be brought under control today. Firefighters from Delvina, Saranda, and Gjirokastra are also on the ground working to put out the flames.
The two Cougar helicopters have left Delvina. It is currently confirmed that there is no danger to homes or human lives.
