The first state matura exam is being held today. Around 27,000 high school graduates will be tested today in the Foreign Language exam. The English exam paper opens at 10:00 in all exam centers simultaneously, but high school graduates must report to the designated facilities two hours in advance.

They must bring a means of identification (ID card or passport), and at least 2 pens. Cell phones and smart watches are strictly prohibited during the exam.

A day ago, Rezarta Alla, the head of the Pre-University Education Agency, in an interview with A2 CNN, called on high school graduates to leave their phones at home.

"Leave your phones at home. Don't forget your ID card, take two pens and maybe a bottle of water before you enter the first State Matura exam."

She calls on graduates and administrators to respect the exam regulations.

For 2 hours and 30 minutes, the high school graduates must answer 60 multiple-choice questions. The exam paper contains questions for all levels of students, while 140 high school graduates with special abilities will have personalized tests. (A2 Televizion)
