Artan Lame passed away today in Munich, Germany, at the age of 58, following a heart operation. Two years ago, in March 2023, after leaving his post as director of the State Cadastre Agency, Lame described his departure from this post as a birthday present.

I consider this retreat a birthday gift, as I need to focus on my health and myself for a while," he said in March 2023, at the presentation ceremony of his successor in this post, alongside Prime Minister Rama, reports A2 CNN.
