Demir Dervishaj, veterinarian and control officer at the veterinary and plant protection agency, confirms that one of the three birds that were found dead in the Old Beach was positive for the H5N1 virus.
Dervishi confirms that after the three birds found dead by the controls, 6 more were identified and taken for further analysis.
According to the veterinarian, there is a risk of the spread of this flu among the poultry, which could further deepen this epidemic. He confirms that the veterinary and plant protection agency is on alert and has notified all farmers to be careful and report any cases of dead birds.
