From 5 thousand ALL to 10 thousand ALL. The spring bonus with this value was approved at the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja announced the beneficiary categories according to the value that will be distributed. According to him, this decision was made possible by economic growth.
"We approved for 730 thousand pensioners of Albania. It will be distributed in the amount of 10,000 ALL and those who receive less than 20,000 ALL pension per month will receive it, about 520,443 pensioners. Bonus 5,000 ALL to those who have a pension of more than 20,000 ALL per month, about 209,987 pensioners" , said Gonxhe.
The bonus will be distributed to pensioners starting from February. The government also approved the mountains package, an initiative aimed at attracting investments from immigrants.
"A draft law which promotes and brings an alternative approach to increase opportunities and help the mountain economy which has been left behind so that we can encourage it to develop and have priority", said Minister Gonxhe.
But municipalities have an important role in this process if they want their area to develop according to this package.
"It creates mechanisms for municipalities to propose areas that receive the status of special areas for mountain development, and these areas benefit through the law from a series of developmental advantages, fiscal facilities, but also solve problems with ownership", emphasized the minister for local government, Arbjan Mazniku.
The mountain package presented by the government in October 2024 includes investments from the diaspora to loans for businesses, the main weight of which will be borne by the state. (A2 Televizion)
