Inflation in the Eurozone for the end of 2024 marked another increase, reaching 2.4%. The end-of-year holiday and the demand for more consumption affected the market prices.
The price change indicator, which marked the increase of 3 months in a row, was mainly influenced by the service sector, followed by food, alcohol and tobacco, writes A2 CNN.
Inflation higher than the European Central Bank's target could also reduce hopes for an interest rate change. The Central Bank has cut interest rates four times since June. (A2 Televizion)
