"No less than 70,000 lek", the indicative salary list for the tourism

The Tax Administration has published the list of indicative salaries for the tourism sector. According to the list, the minimum salary for waiters in restaurants, bars and hotels should not be less than 70,000 lek per month.

Reference salaries start at 55,000 lek for positions such as beach cleaning workers or parking attendants and reach 130,000 to 140,000 lek for head chefs, pastry chefs or other high-level positions in the service chain, writes A2.

Occupations included in the list include: cashiers, bartenders, waiters, pastry chefs, lifeguards, assistant chefs, maintenance workers, and many others.

According to Taxes, taxpayers who declare salaries below the reference level for the respective profession will be considered high risk and will be subject to in-depth checks by the Tax Administration. (A2 Televizion)
