The Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, announced the completion of the first phase of field inspections, as part of strengthening fiscal legality in the agricultural and livestock products sector. Through a post on Facebook, he said that within the first 20 days, 283 entities have been inspected and 103 tons of goods have been blocked.
Malaj announced that the Tax Administration will now begin the second phase, which will focus on the continuous monitoring of the accompanying of products with tax invoices.
According to him, the goal of this initiative is to formalize the market, increase food safety and protect consumers.
"Zero tolerance towards any entity that violates the law and does not respect the rules for trading agricultural and livestock products," declared Malaj. (A2 Televizion)
