This is how the Minister of Finance, Ervin Mete, from the Diaspora Summit, described its role in the Albanian economy, as he added that it is also a help for the country's integration process.

"This good integration moment, which essentially requires the interconnection of the region's markets with the EU markets and which aims at the convergence of these countries with the EU member countries, is a very good opportunity for the inclusion of energies, human capacities , financial, but also the knowledge of the Albanian diaspora in this regard. Our diaspora has a special role in the European integration process. This is also due to the fact that Albania ranks among the countries with the highest number of Albanians living outside the borders in relation to those living inside the country", said Minister Mete.
