The happiness of Albanian pensioners in almost two decades has dropped significantly, ranking them among the last countries in the world.

The Global Happiness Index ranks Albania in 100th place out of 143 countries in the study, leaving only African countries behind.

For the elderly, the lack of well-being and health problems are greater. Access to welfare, including income, education, health care, social acceptance, social support packages for families are the reasons according to the global package that Albanian pensioners also confirm.

"It's hardly enough. How is it not difficult? Do you know how much the pensioner wants medicine, things."

"It's very difficult if I don't have anything to do with you now because that's how things are."

"What will we do, does the pensioner have the strength? Inshallah, may God gather your thoughts, think about both the pensioners and the people."

Currently, Albanian pensioners in the city receive 18,341 Lek and those in the countryside about 11,000 Lek. While this money is not enough for your monthly expenses and for medicines, keep your eyes on the additional money that the government provides through bonuses.

"We destroy this money, even then we open our eyes and wait for it to fall from the sky."

"Alms for us foodies."

If we compare with the region, Kosovo pensioners are among the happiest, ranked 39th, followed by Serbs 54th, Montenegrins 97th, Macedonians 98th and Albania 100th.

Among the unhappiest in the world are the pensioners of countries such as Afghanistan, Zambia, Uganda, etc. While the happiest include countries such as Denmark, Finland, Norway, etc... (A2 Televizion)
