As if it were a game of chess, where the word is the pawn, the argument the king... with every move that could determine the fate of the confrontation in its final act... Law students at "Epoka" University in Tirana and "Aleksandër Moisiu" University in Durrës fired up the engines of their minds and strategies, turning every discussion into a battle, into a showdown over who possessed the most "art of negotiation."
Rezart Spahia, from "Frost & Fire Consulting" says to A2: "This is the third year that we have done this as a competition. The participation has been even wider. We are pleased that this year there were representatives from the universities of the districts. The University of Elbasan, Durrës, Vlora and All Schools of Tirana".
The competition, organized by the prestigious legal consultancy firm "Frost & Fire Consulting", in collaboration with the European Law Students Association, with the support of the company "Gener 2", is considered a bridge connecting young students and the labor market.
"Such initiatives engage young people to develop other skills in addition to the academic part. The negotiation competition is one of them." Finalists from the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës and "Epoka" University competed for first place.
You feel more prepared to face the job market after this experience.
Efgjeni Baçi, a student at Polis University, answers: "Yes! It's easier. You see how the job market works... how things work outside of school. I feel even more ready to participate in similar, new experiences."
After hours of heated discourse, the jury announced the winners: Epoka University and the best negotiator of the third edition.
Leonardo Bezh, a student at Polis University, stated: "In my judgment, it is normally personal for everyone, for every lawyer, the approach. But in my judgment, being rational, especially in such negotiation processes, is absolutely fundamental."
Second place for Esmeralda and Ester from "Aleksandër Moisiu" University also left room for reflection.
"So far, I believe we have done well. Today we should have paid more attention to some facts that we had not paid due attention to," said Esmeralda.
"And I think we should have collaborated better as a group," added Esteri.
Moving with Olympic precision and composure, these students showed that negotiation is more than a process – it is art, it is strategy, it is the future of justice. With the support of “Gener 2”, Frost & Fire Consulting and ELSA Albania, a generation of lawyers is being built who know how to measure any challenge. (A2 Televizion)
