Kastriot Sulka, an expert on pensions, stated in the studio of "A2 Business" with Aurora Sulçe, on A2 CNN, that the pension scheme does not lead to the collapse of the state budget.
"In the beginning, they did the reform because the budget would collapse. Now we are back to the need to review the pension scheme and that is not good. Such reforms are not done so quickly, as many things need to be taken into consideration. Not subject to revision of retirement age. We have two very large spaces to work with. First, the labor market. We have 500,000 people who are not included in this scheme. Informality is very big in our country. Second, 12% of GDP goes to pensions, while in the region it goes to 18%. Therefore, the budget does not collapse even in the region", explained Sulka.
