Three modern meteorological stations in Korça to help farmers

Three modern meteorological stations have been installed in Korça, which aim to help farmers by bringing a new spirit to the way they work the land.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, announced that these stations help farmers better predict climate change, manage pests and diseases, and use resources more efficiently.

"Three modern meteorological stations, equipped with sensors and digital traps, have been installed to support farmers in the cultivation of apples and cherries, a concrete step towards strengthening smart agriculture," emphasized Minister Denaj.

The initiative directly helps build long-term economic sustainability for the agricultural sector in Korça, making agriculture a more sustainable and profitable activity, despite the challenges caused by climate change, writes A2 CNN.

According to Minister Denaj, this initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with GIZ, is part of the "Agriculture2030" vision, which aims for sustainable agriculture, equipped with knowledge and technology, and gives farmers the power to face the challenges of the future.

Minister Denaj said that this investment was carried out by GIZ Albania and WB Adapt, in collaboration with QTTB Korça, AREB Korça and ADAD Malore. (A2 Televizion)
