The US Department of the Treasury will help Albanian institutions in the direction of the development of the capital markets.
The news was given by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Ervin Mete, after a meeting with the advisors of the US Treasury Department, Robert Burch and Charles Anderson.
The Technical Assistance Office will provide expertise to the Albanian authorities also within the framework of the implementation of the action plan of the Policy Document "On the creation of an enabling environment for the development of capital markets in Albania, 2023-2027", approved in April 2023 from the Council of Ministers.
The stock market, or capital market, is one of the most unknown tools for the country's economy, three decades after embracing capitalism. (A2 Televizion)
