In the village of Vig in Vau i Dejës, 2,200 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants cultivated in the ground and 578 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings cultivated in pots were found in 2 areas of the village of Vig.
Through a statement, the Police announced that they used drones and information from police intelligence to identify the two areas where the quantity of cannabis was located.
It is also known that some of the plants and seedlings were seized as material evidence, while the rest were destroyed by burning, writes A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, work continues to identify and bring to criminal responsibility the perpetrator(s) of the cultivation of plants and seedlings.

Detailed operational plan codenamed "Coordination", for the prevention, detection and suppression of attempts to cultivate narcotic plants.
The massive operation will extend across the country.
Included in the operation were the Local Police Directorates, the National Security Forces and the Border Police.
As part of the operation, 2 cases of attempted cultivation of narcotic plants were identified and dealt with by the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat.

As a result of the controls carried out in implementation of the operational plan drafted by the General Directorate of the State Police, to identify and strike at the initial stage, attempts to cultivate narcotic plants, throughout the country, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, with the use of a drone, based on information provided by police intelligence, have identified in two deforested areas in the territory of the village of Vig, 2,200 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants cultivated on the ground and 578 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings cultivated in pots.
