The Mati police have arrested four people suspected of the murder of 23-year-old Renis Dobra, who was found dead near Lake Shkopet. The suspects are people who had previously had conflicts with the victim.
During questioning, they denied having anything to do with the incident, stating that they had settled their arguments with the 23-year-old and that they were unaware of the circumstances of the crime. After being questioned for several hours, they were released by the police, but despite this, they will continue to be kept under observation as suspects in the crime.
Preliminary examination has revealed that 23-year-old Dobra lost his life from rope strangulation. It is suspected that after the young man was strangled with a rope, the perpetrators threw him in their vehicle into Lake Shkopet, but his body was pulled out of the car without ending up in the water.
To shed light on the incident and identify the perpetrators, the police have focused their investigations on several leads, such as conflicts that the young man may have had, both inside and outside Albanian territory.
According to sources, in Germany, from where he was deported a few months earlier, he was involved as a drug distributor. He is suspected of recently continuing this activity in his city, where he is suspected of being involved with a group of people involved in the cultivation of cannabis.
