Despite the cases discovered, attempts to adapt homes for the purpose of cultivating narcotic plants do not stop.
The most recent case discovered in Vlora, in the "24 Maji" neighborhood, can be considered unique due to the fact that an attempt was made to adapt an apartment as a shepherd's house within dense residential centers and near local directorates.
A shutter that was closed at all times and on which a notice for rent was displayed camouflaged the activity, as the entrance was through another small door. A2 CNN entered the premises of this apartment, where the equipment and adaptations that have been made for the cultivation of cannabis sativa are clearly visible.
Even though this apartment has been through police checks and inspections, there are still visible signs of plants that have been cultivated.
In relation to this case, the Vlora police have announced that they have detained a person residing in Lezha, while they have announced a search for another person residing in Fier, who is suspected of being the owner of the environment adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants.
