The investigation into the murder of 33-year-old Albanian Erjon Pelivani in Greece by 51-year-old Fatmir Tarellari from Poliçan, following suspicions that he had raped the latter's daughter, has taken a different turn.
According to Greek media, it is known that yesterday in the Larissa Court, the 19-year-old daughter of the perpetrator of the murder admitted that she falsified text messages to convince her father that she had been sexually abused by her uncle (the 33-year-old who remained the victim).
Fatmir Tarellari is accused of intentional murder in a calm state of mind, of illegal possession of a weapon and of using a weapon, after on January 9, 2024, with his hunting rifle, just outside Volos, near a cement factory, he set a deadly trap for his 33-year-old brother-in-law Erjon Pelivani, whom he shot and fatally wounded, after he had read the messages sent by his daughter.
The 51-year-old was convinced by his daughter that his 33-year-old brother-in-law was the one who raped her when she was 9 years old and beyond, writes A2 CNN.
It all started when 51-year-old Tarellari received a call from the owner of his student daughter's rented house, who told him that she had not paid her dues, even though he had been sending her money regularly.
The 19-year-old girl reportedly stated at the time that she was forced to give the money to her 33-year-old uncle because he was blackmailing her by saying he would publish photos of her indecent acts while sexually abusing her.
Meanwhile, yesterday, the 19-year-old girl, during her testimony, admitted that, in order to make her father believe that she was being sexually abused, she falsified the SMS messages she exchanged with her boyfriend, in such a way that it seemed as if the sender of the messages was the 33-year-old, who ultimately lost his life.
The trial began with the defendant expressing his regret for what happened, adding that those days "were the worst days of my life when I learned what happened to my daughter," adding further that "I was in a state of shock."
During the hearing a few days ago, a number of witnesses testified, and the trial will continue. The 19-year-old girl, despite admitting to forging the messages, continues to stand by her statements that she was raped by her 33-year-old uncle, who remained the victim. (A2 Televizion)
