One dead and two injured is the toll from an accident that occurred in Elbasan on Tuesday morning.
On the national axis Elbasan-Librazhd, specifically in a place called Xibrakë, two vehicles moving at high speed collided, causing one person to die and two others to be seriously injured.
A BMW with Bulgarian license plates (CB8640HA) collided with a Hyundai with Albanian license plates (AA116ST). As a result, the passenger in the BMW died, while the driver and passenger of the Hyundai were transported to the Elbasan Surgical Hospital for medical assistance.
"Around 08:45, on the "Elbasan-Librazhd" road, the vehicle driven by citizen FA, 68 years old, collided with the vehicle driven by citizen ND, 33 years old. As a result of the accident, citizen FA lost his life, and citizen ND and 3 passengers in these vehicles were injured, who were taken to hospital and are out of danger to their lives," the police announced.
The investigation team is at the scene and has begun investigations to determine the causes of the accident. (A2 Televizion)
