The State Police, in cooperation with British authorities, has finalized the police operation codenamed "Accusations", enabling the capture in the United Kingdom of Albanian citizen Ervis Vrenozi, 39 years old.
Vrenozi was declared an international wanted person after a decision by the Fier Court in 2020, which sentenced him to 5 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession of weapons and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics".
Currently, Interpol Tirana is cooperating with Interpol Manchester to complete the legal procedures for his extradition to Albania.
