A fatal accident is reported to have occurred at the construction site at Vlora Airport.
According to sources for A2 CNN, it is reported that the incident occurred at midnight on Friday and Saturday, where a 60-year-old man from Dibra had just gotten off the truck, was hit by a heavy tonnage vehicle (fadrom) and consequently died on the spot.
Police announce that they have arrested the taxi driver, a 63-year-old man from Pristina, for the serious incident.
Meanwhile, the investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Station arrested citizen Rr. S., 63 years old, resident of Prishtina, Kosovo, after it is suspected that on 17.01.2025, at around 21:20, at the construction site of the Vlora Airport, while driving a pickup truck, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a trailer. As a result, the driver of the trailer, citizen N. Xh., 60 years old, resident of Dibër, lost his life. (A2 Televizion)
