A 51-year-old man from North Macedonia has been arrested at the Muriqani border crossing after being wanted for robbery.
"Accused by Macedonian authorities of robbery, the 51-year-old is captured and arrested with the aim of extradition.
The Border Police Services, as a result of increased measures and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have caught the Macedonian citizen Muriqan at the exit of the PKK and have arrested him for extradition purposes:
NA, 51 years old, resident of North Macedonia.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Skopje, after the Primary Court of Skopje, on 01.06.2023, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Robbery".
"Interpol Tirana is cooperating with Interpol Skopje for the extradition of the 51-year-old to North Macedonia," the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
