Police arrested a 31-year-old man in Peqin, accused of possessing a weapon without a permit, A2 CNN reports. Authorities searched the residence of citizen MM, in the village of Bishqem, where he was suspected of possessing a weapon without a permit.
During the search, the Police services found a Kalashnikov firearm with cartridges, which this citizen was carrying without a permit.
At the end of the actions, MM, 31 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Court of First Instance, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
