Tirana police have seized an automatic firearm with a silencer and combat ammunition, 15 pieces of combat cartridges, an axe, a knife, a Glock pistol holster and 4 gun cartridges were found in the yard of the apartment, in the apartment of Ervis Lam, who is wanted in connection with the murder of Lulzim Visha on Friday morning, reports A2 CNN.
Police also confirmed the arrest of Eduart Lam, 37, the son of Ervis Lam's uncle, for the criminal offenses of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons."
From the entirety of the preliminary investigative actions, the administration of evidence and facts, it results that the apartment where the illegal items were found is in the possession of Ervis Lam and is used by him and his cousin.
The firearm, cartridges, and other items seized from the apartment are being sent to the Scientific Police Institute for further examination to see if this firearm was used in a criminal incident.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana for further action. (A2 Televizion)
