A serious incident has been prevented by the police in the village of Godolesh, Elbasan. The blue uniforms indicate that a 49-year-old man has been arrested for physically assaulting his wife and attempting to attack their minor son with an axe.
"The services of the Elbasan Police Commissariat, after receiving a report of a case of domestic violence in the village of Godolesh, immediately intervened in order to prevent the escalation of the situation. As a result of quick actions, it was possible to capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the citizen Sh. V., 49 years old, who is suspected of having exercised physical violence against his wife and attempted to attack their 10-year-old son with an axe," the police announced.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
