Four people have been arrested by police in the capital after they were caught transporting 11 kilograms of cannabis for the purpose of selling.
The blue uniforms explain that Jetlir Mulkurtaj, Gjonald Hazizi, Jetmir Mulkurtaj and Ormal Ismaili were arrested as part of the "Carry on" operation.
"The Narcotics Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Operational Force Sector of the Tirana Police Department, within the framework of a proactive proceeding, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, after a three-month investigative work, has organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Carry on". As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested: J. M, 27 years old and JM, 35 years old, both residents of Tropoja; Gj. H., 28 years old and OI, 35 years old, both residents of Tirana", the police announced.
The four young men were detained in the Kodra e Diellit area, and the narcotics, the "Benz" vehicle they were driving, and 5 cell phones were seized.
"During the operation, on "Bill Clinton" Street, the Police services stopped the "Benz" type vehicle, in which during the search, in the trunk, 2 bags filled with suspected narcotics, cannabis, with a total weight of 11 kg, were found and seized," the police inform. (A2 Televizion)
