The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has appealed the security measure "prison arrest" imposed in absentia on him.
According to his defense attorneys, the appeal against Judge Erion Bani's February 9 decision was sent by mail.
In the coming days, within the legal deadlines, Veliaj's defense lawyers are expected to file an appeal against the February 12 decision of the GJKKO, which confirmed the security measure of "prison arrest" against Veliaj. (A2 Televizion)
