A 37-year-old man was found dead near the port of Shëngjin. He was found the day before at around 3:40 p.m.
According to the Police, the NZ citizen, a resident of Fushë Krujë, is suspected of being drowned, as no signs of violence were found on the body.
"Around 15:40, near the port of Shëngjin, the Border Police officers of the port found the lifeless body of a citizen near the shore. A few meters away from the body, the Border Police services found a Jet Ski-type floating vehicle. No signs of violence or physical damage were found on the victim's body. It is initially suspected that he died as a result of drowning at sea," the State Police statement said.
