The services of the Traffic Commissariat, during patrol in the sector, on "Mikel Maruli" street, have found a vehicle in violation of road traffic rules (the driver of the vehicle continued to move the vehicle even though the traffic light had turned on the traffic stop light).
Traffic Police officers followed the vehicle, which the driver parked upon seeing the police and continued on foot, but was stopped by the Police services for further administrative actions for the violation.
During the communication of the observed violation, the driver of the vehicle, citizen A. Sh., together with 3 other citizens, opposed and struck the employees of the Traffic Police and the General Patrol of Commissariat No. 6, due to their duty, in order to prevent their escort to the Commissariat.
Following the verifications, it resulted that citizen A.Sh. was driving while intoxicated.
During the escort to the police station, these citizens damaged the police vehicle and damaged the door of the escort premises.
Following the actions, the Crime Investigation Specialists at Police Station No. 6 arrested the following citizens in flagrante delicto: A. Sh, 37 years old, A. Xh, 32 years old, B. Xh, 30 years old, all three residents of Kukës, and B. Xh, 25 years old, resident of Tirana, for the criminal offenses of "Opposition of a public order police officer", "Threat due to duty", "Assault due to duty", "Destruction of property" committed in collaboration, and "Irregular driving of a vehicle".
