A 39-year-old man has been arrested by the Gjirokastra Police after being accused in Spain of cultivating narcotic plants, writes A2 CNN.
Through a notice, the Police announces that the Court of Sabadell in Spain, in June 2025, has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the cultivation of narcotic plants and for the theft of electricity, offenses for which in the Spanish Criminal Code, the maximum sentence is 6 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with its counterparts at Interpol Madrid to finalize the procedure for the extradition of this citizen to Spain.

As a result of the operational work of the Gjirokastra Police Commissariat services, carried out based on information obtained through operational channels, on the location of a citizen declared internationally wanted, on behalf of Spain, another phase of operation "The Wanted" was finalized.
During it, citizen EB, 39 years old, was located and arrested for extradition to Spain.
