Altin Kodra, sentenced to 22 years in prison, has been placed in a special regime (41-bis) in the high security prison for a term of 1 year.
"Today, on 16.12.2024, the prisoner Altin Kodra was placed in the Special Regime (41-bis) in the high security prison for a term of 1 (one) year, near the IEVP Peqin. His transition to this regime was made through Order No. 623, dated 16.12.2024, "On placing in a special regime the rights in the institution of execution of high security criminal decisions, of the prisoner Altin Kodra" of the Minister of Justice.
Altin Kodra was sentenced to 22 years in prison by decision no. 236, dated 10.06.2008, of the Shkodër Judicial District Court, for the commission of the criminal offenses "Deliberate murder" and "Unauthorized possession of combat weapons", provided by articles 76 and 278/2 of the Criminal Code.
During the time he was serving his sentence, he was also convicted for other criminal offenses. With the decision no. 128, dated 11.10.2012, of the Court of the Judicial District of Krujë, he was convicted for the criminal offense "Leaving the place of residence", provided by articles 323-25-22 of the Criminal Code. He was also convicted in two other cases, by final decision no. 576, dated 02.07.2021, and no. 278, dated 05.04.2022, of the Judicial District Court of Elbasan, for committing the criminal offense "Introduction or keeping prohibited items in IEVP", according to article 324/a/1 and 324/a/2 of Criminal Code", the announcement states.
