Tirana Police have announced the seizure of the assets of a citizen convicted of human trafficking.
An apartment and two vehicles, worth around 228 thousand euros, were registered in the name of the convicted citizen's father, writes A2.
As part of the operation, the decision of the Tirana Court to impose preventive seizure on assets registered in the name of the father of citizen Ismail Gjineci (34 years old), resident of Tirana, convicted of human trafficking, was executed.

The police operation codenamed "Real Owner" is being finalized, to track assets derived from criminal activity.
The operation, by the Money Laundering and Criminal Assets Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Seized and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecution Office.

The Money Laundering and Criminal Assets Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Seized and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency, as a result of the investigative and tracking work carried out under the direction of the Tirana Prosecution Office, for the identification and seizure of assets obtained from criminal activities, finalized the "Real Owner" operation.
As part of the operation, the decision of the Tirana Court to impose preventive seizure on assets registered in the name of the father of citizen I. Gj., 34 years old, resident of Tirana, convicted of human trafficking, was executed.
Specifically, 1 apartment and 2 vehicles were seized, worth around 228 thousand euros.
The Prosecutor's Office is continuing to investigate other illegally acquired assets that the 34-year-old may have registered in the names of other citizens.
