The Greek media have revealed the identities of two Albanians who fell victim to a mafia assassination in the area of Thrakomacedona at noon. It is reported that the victim has been identified as Irakli Davella (45 years old). He is the owner of a business located in the Peristeri neighborhood of Athens.
The perpetrators seem to have followed their victim, while the police are investigating his murder as a clean-up.
Davella had obtained Greek citizenship since 2009. In the past, it is suspected that he participated in a group that extorted money from shops to offer them protection. He also rented vehicles on the Greek islands in the summer months. The victim seems to have maintained friendly relations with persons connected to the Greek mafia.
Meanwhile, the injured person, who it is known had arrived in Greece from Dubai, just a few days ago, has been identified as citizen Edi Lolo (46 years old).
He was taken to the hospital and his condition is considered very serious as he has bullet wounds in his head and abdomen.
A white BMË IX car, which turns out to have been stolen in the morning in the area of Patisia, fired at the two Albanians.
Police sources for the Greek media Zougla.gr say that we are dealing with a mafia execution. The incident took place outside a shop located at the intersection of Aristoteli and Komotini streets. (A2 Televizion)
