Police have arrested an Italian citizen and prosecuted his brother, accused of trafficking luxury cars from Italy to Albania, reports A2 CNN. Police also seized two vehicles, an “Audi Q3” and a “BMW X6”, manufactured in recent years, worth around 150,000 euros.
As part of the operation, Italian citizen DS, 37 years old, residing in Italy, was arrested, and proceedings were initiated against citizen FS, residing in Italy.
The investigations revealed that these two citizens, in collaboration with each other, trafficked stolen vehicles into Albania, mainly in Italy.
As material evidence, 2 vehicles, type "Audi Q3" and "BMW X6", manufactured in recent years, worth approximately 150,000 euros, were seized.
In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to uncover other cases of vehicle trafficking that these citizens may have committed.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
