A 17-year-old has been arrested by the Police after being caught red-handed with an automatic firearm, which he was suspected of selling in the city of Vlora. It is learned that the 17-year-old had put the firearm in the trunk of a taxi, which he had taken to travel to the city.
Through a statement, the Police announced that a 19-year-old man has also been identified and wanted, who is suspected of having collaborated with the 17-year-old to obtain the firearm.
An automatic firearm and 3 combs were seized as material evidence, while work continues to fully elucidate the incident.

Following measures to prevent and crack down on criminal activities in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based also on police intelligence, the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Operational Investigation Support Section, organized and finalized the police operation "The Passenger".
During the operation, on the "Fier-Vlora" road axis, a 17-year-old resident of Fier was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs, after during a search of the trunk of a taxi vehicle, which this citizen had taken to travel to Vlora, among his personal belongings, an automatic firearm and two combs were found.
Following the actions in this case, citizen E. Gj., 19 years old, resident of Fier, was declared wanted, as he is suspected of having collaborated with the 17-year-old to obtain the firearm, with the aim of selling it in the city of Vlora.
During the search of the apartment of citizen E. Gj., a gun barrel was found, which was seized as material evidence, along with the firearm (automatic rifle) and the two barrels that the 17-year-old was carrying.
Work continues to capture citizen E. Gj. and fully document the case.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
