Four tourists in danger, 2 Croatians in Velipojë and 2 Frenchmen in Vlora,

4 tourists, two Croatians in Velipojë and 2 Frenchmen in Vlora, sought police assistance on Monday evening.

The police announced that after receiving a report from French citizen BD, who had gone swimming on the seashore in Pulaj, Velipojë Beach, who was seeking help for two tourists from Croatia, citizens IK and I. Sh., who, as a result of the numerous waves, the boat they were sailing on was drifting towards the depths and for this reason their lives were seriously endangered.

Police services in cooperation with the Velipojë Border Post and with the assistance of the Montenegrin Police, who immediately intervened with a helicopter and a boat, made it possible to retrieve from the sea with a Montenegrin Police boat two Croatian tourists, who are being sent for medical assistance in Ulcinj, out of danger to their lives, writes A2 CNN.

Meanwhile, 2 French tourists had lost contact during the evening hours. Around 8:00 PM, a French couple broke away from their guide and left. Due to the darkness, they lost their orientation and notified the emergency services at 129.

Immediately, the Himara fire brigade and the Palasa police station launched a search. The tourists were located on the Llogara mountain, near the antennas above the Llogara tunnel. Currently, they have met with the rescue team and are returning to base. The couple, around 50 years old, are in good health. (A2 Televizion)
