Threatening his wife with a knife, 64-year-old man arrested in Korça

Police in Korça have prevented a possible domestic crime by arresting a 64-year-old man who was threatening his wife with a knife.          

"The services of the Korça Police Commissariat, after receiving the notification that in neighborhood no. 11, Korça, a citizen threatened his wife with a cutting tool (knife), immediately organized the work to prevent a possible criminal event and bring the perpetrator to criminal responsibility. As a result of the timely response and professional actions of the Police services, citizen AL, 64 years old, resident of Korça, was arrested in flagrante delicto, who is suspected of having threatened his wife several times with a knife, for weak motives", the police explain.

Officers have found and seized as material evidence the knife used by the 64-year-old for the threat. (A2 Televizion)
