An American couple from Florida have had their vacation cut short in the most tragic way possible, when husband Brandon Saportio, 57, stabbed his wife, Sandra Saporito, 54, to death. As a result of the injuries sustained, the 54-year-old American has died.
Meanwhile, the police escorted the 57-year-old husband, who at the time of arrest was bleeding and had a wound on his left arm.
For this reason, he was initially taken to the Shkodra hospital, where it was confirmed that his life was not in danger, and then proceeded with his arrest. The American couple had rented an apartment in the "At Shtjefën Gjeçovi" neighborhood of Shkodra.
According to preliminary data, it is learned that the 57-year-old was in an intoxicated state at the time he was escorted by the police. Meanwhile, residents of the area near the couple's apartment have confirmed that they heard loud arguments before the murder, and some of them have also notified the police.
The latter suspects that the quarrel between the couple may have occurred while they were drunk. However, toxicological expertise is expected to provide more accurate answers about the circumstances of the incident.
