Joint operations between Albanian authorities and international partners for the capture and extradition of Albanian citizens declared internationally wanted continue with intensity. As part of the international operation codenamed "The Wanted", two important extraditions from Germany and Italy have been finalized.
In cooperation with German authorities, it was possible to arrest and then extradite to Albania citizen DL, 21 years old, who had been declared wanted by the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime.
DL is accused of involvement in a structured criminal group operating in the field of cultivating narcotic plants.
Meanwhile, police have arrested in Milan and extradited to Albania the 35-year-old UN citizen, resident of Korça.
He was wanted for an incident that occurred in June 2024, where, in collaboration with another person, he forcibly held another citizen inside a vehicle and severely raped him. (A2 Televizion)
