The mother of the suspect in the murder of 52-year-old Kozeta Teço in Pogradec has ruled out any possibility that her son killed his former partner. She said that they had been living together for a long time and that the son loved her despite the fact that she was older than him, reports A2 CNN.
According to Sanie Selman, her 31-year-old son was not violent, he never caused problems at home towards her and his father, let alone with the neighbors.
"Ask in the neighborhood and they will tell you what kind of boy he was, he didn't mess with anyone, he didn't kill a fly and certainly not a man, from time to time he would ask for some money but that was it," said the young man's mother through tears. The boy lived with her and that day he took the trash and threw it in the bin that was at the door of the house, despite the fact that I didn't agree with their relationship, I never asked them to break up, as the boy had accepted it as it was," the 31-year-old's mother further said, according to A2 CNN.
She says that the victim was not only related to her son but also to many others, while demanding that the truth be revealed while denying her son's involvement in the murder.
"I am very shocked, I have read and seen in the media many untruths that the police have released as information, we as parents have also learned about the incident from the media and the police, they came to the house, 15 police officers almost strangled my son. My son has a heart condition, he has health problems and we have changed his blood several times, he is also being treated in a camp for heart problems. I demand that the truth come out, because as far as I know, it was not only related to my son, but also to many others, the police investigate and uncover the truth, my son is not a murderer, my son has never caused problems, ask wherever you want", declared Sanie Selmani off camera.
