The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has ensured the repatriation of a young Albanian man, who was in danger in Sierra Leone.
Through a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes that the request for assistance came from the 19-year-old's mother a few days ago and, according to the Ministry, through diplomatic channels and with coordinated support with local authorities and international partners, a quick and effective response was enabled.

A story of hope and shared commitment! After several days of intensive efforts, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA) of Albania has managed to successfully repatriate a young Albanian man, who was in danger in Sierra Leone.
The request for assistance came from the mother of the 19-year-old, FT, a few days ago, and the MEPJ immediately took the situation under consideration. Through diplomatic channels and with coordinated support from local authorities and international partners, a rapid and effective response was enabled.
With the efforts of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the operation was successfully concluded within a short period, enabling the young man to return safe and healthy to his family.
The MEPJ expresses its most sincere thanks to all authorities that participated in this operation and assures that it will continue to provide tireless support to Albanian citizens, wherever they are. (A2 Televizion)
