The leader of the 'Shqipëria Bëhet' coalition, Adriatik Lapaj, has sued the leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, for defamation in SPAK.
During a speech to the media, Lapaj explained that Agron Shehaj must go to the Special Court and prove that he received money from crime, while representing him as a lawyer.
He also said that Agron Shehaj has persistently sought this conflict, as according to Lapaj, he has had no interest in dealing with the leaders of new parties.
"I have given Mr. Shehaj time for a month, but also for myself, to reflect, because I did not want this conflict, because the one who is rubbing his belly in this conflict is Edi Rama. But Shehaj demanded it with a candle, claiming that we have things to hide and fear.
I was not afraid of Edi Rama and Berisha, not of Agron. I did not want to create a conflict course between the new, but whoever seeks war, will find war. As he seeks it, so he will find it. Today I am submitting the lawsuit as an injured accuser to the Special Court and Shehaj must come here to prove the allegations.
"Neither I nor any of my family members own a single meter of land in Albania. It has been claimed that I represented criminal companies seized by SPAK and that I received money from these companies," Lapaj said, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
