Police in Berat have arrested a 31-year-old man, who was traveling on the road connecting the city with Dimal, in possession of cold weapons.
Officers have seized two knives as material evidence.
"The services of the Berat Police Commissariat, in continuation of the work to prevent and crack down on criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, stopped on the Berat-Dimal road, the vehicle driven by citizen MR, 31 years old, resident of the village of Osmëzezë, Berat. During the control carried out by the Police services, 2 cold weapons (knives) were found in the trunk of the vehicle and seized as material evidence," the police announced.
The young man with the initials MR is accused of the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production, possession or sale of cold weapons." (A2 Televizion)
